1. Anatomy of the 3-Point Hitch System
The system consists of three mounting points forming an inverted triangle:
- Two Lower Lift Arms: Hydraulically driven up and down by the rockshaft cylinder. They bear 100% of the implement's vertical weight and provide lateral sway stabilization via turnbuckles or pin-sway bars.
- One Top Link: An adjustable threaded turnbuckle connecting the top of the implement to the tractor chassis. It controls the implement's forward-and-backward pitch angle.
